The Hostel Rooms
We are a very small hostel with only 18 beds. We have 2 double rooms, a 6 bed and an 8 bed dorm. Each of the bed rooms in the hostel have been individually designed with an animal theme.

Prices in the hostel vary depending on the time of year and which room is being booked. Prices start from €9.90 per night per bed in the 8 bed dorm and from €19.90 per night per person in the double room. You can visit the Raise a Smile Hostel Berlin Booking Page to make a reservation.
Most of the people who visit our hostel are backpackers and spend most of their time in the communal kitchen or livingroom/social room chatting, playing cards, and making new friends.
The Raise a Smile Hostel Berlin Backpacker Kitchen
The Kitchen has a modern oven and stove and is fully equipped with all the pots and pans, plates, knives, forks, spoons etc. that you will ever need.
There is a dining table with plenty of seating room so many people sit in the kitchen to chat.
In the mornings we put a self service breakfast out, usually this includes bread with various jams and spreads, a variety of breakfast cereals, some fruit and sometimes waffles, croissants or cakes. If you eat breakfast you are expected to give a donation of around €2 or €3 Euros, you decide how much depending on what you ate.
The Raise a Smile Hostel Berlin chill out room
We have a common room/livingroom for all guests to use with a cosy corner of mattresses and cusions to sit on or lie around.
We like to encourage guests to spend time in the social room by watching films, playing games chatting, eating and drinking etc.
The social room has been painted by Hamburg artist Michael Göster with a tribal African pattern going around the room and a large wall painting of an acacia tree (which is a typical african tree).
